Interviewer instructions
In some states, permission is required for transfer of any land in tribal areas. Permission is a must in all the states if such transfer is made to non- tribals. Whatever be the position, for each disposal, it is to be ascertained
permission is obtained from the appropriate authority for disposal of land. If permission is taken, the entry in col. (9) will be 1: otherwise code 2 may be entered in this column.
