If not hired,imputed monthly rent(Rs)
Information on imputed rent for those dwellings which are not hired 9 i. e. for those with codes 2 & 9 in item 1 of this block ) will be collected and entered against this item. Imputation will be done on the basis of the prevailing rate of rent for similar accommodation in the locality . for hired dwellings ( I . e. for those with codes 3 or 4 in item 1 ) a `x` will be put against this item. Imputed rent will be recorded in rupees in whole number. Proper probing and local enquiry is essential to ascertain the rent the dwelling unit may fetch at the prevailing market rate.
