when the household surveyed in the first visit is found to have been partitioned into two or more households in the second visit, as per the conditions stated in para 5.5.20, the total number of households formed from partitioning of the parent household will be recorded in item 11. These households are henceforth referred to as ' partitioned households'. The number of partitioned households staying within the sample village/block during the second visit will be recorded in item 12.
