Interviewer instructions

Columns (7) to (15) are meant for collecting information on the types of agricultural activities carried out in the holding during the reference season. There are nine separate activities to be reported upon in these columns, which can be grouped into two classes as follows:

within homestead land: cultivation in kitchen garden, livestock keeping, poultry raising, and other agricultural production;

outside homestead land: orchards, plantation(including forestry plantation), raising field corps, pisciculture, and other agricultural production.

For each of these nine columns, it will be separately ascertained whether the relevant activity has been carried out, even nominally, in the holding during the reference season. For an affirmative answer code '1' will be recorded in the corresponding column, otherwise the entry will be code '2'.
