schedule despatch (DSL) no: With a view to reconcile the despatch of filled-in schedule by FOD field offices vis-àvis receipt of the same by CSO (IS Wing), Kolkata a unique Despatch Serial number (DSL) has been provided for all the selected factories both under Census Sector and the Sample Sector and the same is to be reported by the field staff of FOD both in Parts I & II. These items will be copied from the sample list. DSL numbers are unique across the region for a particular year of survey. However, the same factory may have different DSL numbers in different years of survey.
