Summary of comsumer expenditure
It is meant to derive the value of per capita consumption expenditure for a period of 30 days. Schedule Type 1, provides for the computation of two measures of monthly per capita consumer expenditure (MPCE). One is the Uniform Reference Period (URP) measure of MPCE based on data collected with a 30-day reference period for all items. The other is the Mixed Reference Period (MRP) measure of MPCE based on data with a 365-day reference period wherever available and a 30-day reference period for other items.
