Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP) is one of the Indian Government's main poverty alleviation programmes in the field of rural development. Its object is the uplift of rural families identified as poor. The objective is sought to be achieved by providing productive assets and inputs to target groups. The assets are provided through financial assistance in the form of subsidy from the Government and term credit advance by financial institutions. The programme is implemented in all the community development blocks in the country.
