A katcha structure is one whose walls and roofs are made of mud, bamboo, grass, leaves, reeds, thatch or unbrunt bricks. a pucca structure is one whose walls and roof are made of burnt bricks, stone, cement concreat, jack board (cement - plastered reeds), mosaic, tiles or timber. Tiles galvanized as tin or asbestos cement sheets used in construction of roofs will be regarded as pucca material. A semi-pucca structure is one of which either the of or the walls, but not both, is made exclusively of pucca materials like burnt bricks, stones, cement, concrete or timber.
