(11) will be filled in only when the entry in col. (10) is one of the codes 11, 21, 31 and 41-51. The industry section corresponding to the principal/subsidiary gainful activity is to be determined according to NIC 1987 and the appropriate code is to be recorded in col. (9)/col. (11). If the principal/ subsidiary gainful activity is carried out in more than one industry section the appropriate industry section code will be decided on the basis of the major time criteria.
