Interviewer instructions
It has been stated earlier that transfer of land from tribal to non-tribal is not legally valid. For all cases of disposal to non-tribals [ code 4 in col. (7)] it is to be enquired whether the household has filed any claim to the appropriate authority for restoration of such land. If such claim is filed, the entry in col. (13) will be 1; otherwise, code 2 will be entered in this column.
