Nature of operation: This item is meant to record the seasonality in operations of the enterprise under survey.
If the enterprise operates more or less regularly throughout the year, it is a perennial enterprise.
If the enterprise operates during particular season(s) of the year, it is termed as a seasonal enterprise.
If the enterprise carries on its activity only occasionally, but total number of days operated in the last 365 days is 30 days or more then it will be treated as a casual enterprise.
