Information regarding the general and technical education attained by the normal members of the household listed in col. (1) will be recorded in columns (7) and (8) respectively in terms of the specified code numbers. For the purpose of making entries in those columns, only the course successfully completed will be considered. For instance, for a person who has studies up to say, first year B.A., his educational attainment will be considered only secondary (code number 5).
